The area of a plastic sheet = 300 cm sq.

The length of the plastic sheet = 30 cm

To be found :-

The breadth of the plastic sheet

As the plastic has length and breath so, its a rectangular plastic sheet

Rectangle :

A polygon having all interior angle = 90° each

Diagonals of the rectangles are equal

Two pair of opposite angles are parallel and equal (all sides are not equal)

The formula for finding the area of the rectangle = lb  unit sq.

[∴ in which l is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle ]

Area of the rectangular plastic sheet = 300 cm sq.

⇒ lb = 300

⇒ 30 × b = 300

⇒ b = 300 ÷30

⇒ b = 10
