Solution :-

Volume of the grave will be equal to depth times area of playground.

where, depth = 1.2cm = 0.012m

So,

Volume of grave = Area of the playground ×depth

Volume = 3650m ×0.012m

Volume = 43.8m³

Cost of covering the playground with gravel at cost of Rs 6.40 per cubic metre will be,

= 43.8 × 6.40

= Rs. 280.32
