Area of playground ( which is, Length * Breadth) = 4800 m² = 48000000 cm²

If gravel = 1 cm deep

So, the gravel required, will have a length, breadth as well as height(its depth)

So, volume of gravel required = Length * Breadth * Height = 48000000 * 1

= 48000000 cm³ = 48 m³

Rate of gravel = 4.80 rupees per metre³

So, cost  = 48 * 4.80 = 230.40 rupees

Answer : Cost is of Rs. 230.40
