Given: side of square is 5cm
Firstly, we find the area of square i.e.
area of square= side×side
area=5×5
area=25cm^2

width of rectangle=1/2×5(width of rectangle is half of square.)
width=2.5cm
area of rectangle=length×width(area of square is equal to the area of rectangle.)
25=length×2.5
25/2.5=length
10cm=length of rectangle
