The area of a rectangle carpet is 120 sq m and it's perimeter is 46m. Find the length of its diagonals.

PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 2(L+B)= 46

L+B= 23

120/B+ B=23

B²-23B+120=0

FROM HERE B=8 m

L= 23-8 = 15m

by Pythagoras theorem

L²+ B² = D²

15²+ 8² = D²

D²=225+64

D=√289

D=17 M
