Answer:

Area of rectangle = l*b

61.2 = 7.2*l

l = 8.5m

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

= 2(8.5 + 7.2)

31.4m

Given

  • Length of rectangle ⇒ 12 m
  • Area of rectangle ⇒ 60 m²

_______________________________

To Find

  • Breadth of rectangle
  • Perimeter of Rectangle

_______________________________

Solution

Area of Rectangle ⇒ Length × Breadth

Length ⇒ 12 m

Breadth ⇒ x m

Breadth ⇒ Area ÷ Length

Breadth ⇒ 60 ÷ 12

Breadth ⇒ 5

∴ Breadth = 5 m

Perimeter of Rectangle ⇒ 2 (Length + Breadth)

Length ⇒ 12 m

Breadth ⇒ 5 m

Perimeter of Rectangle ⇒ 2 (12 + 5)

Perimeter of Rectangle ⇒ 2 (17)

Perimeter of Rectangle ⇒ 34

∴ Perimeter of Rectangle = 34 m
