Answer:

Width =4m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width be 'x'.

Given , length = 16m

           area = 64m²

We know that area= length × breadth

                         64 = 16 * x

                       ∴ x = 64/16= 4m.

Given:-

  • Area = A = 64m²
  • Length = l = 16m²

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Need to find:

  • The width = b =?

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Solution:-

We know,

Area of a Rectangle = Length × Width

→ Area of the Rectangle = l × b

→ Area = 16m × b

→ 64m² = 16m × b

→ b = 64 ÷ 16 m

→ b = 4m

The width of the Rectangle is 4m
