Step-by-step explanation:

let the length of rectangle be 'x'

the breadth of rectangle be 'y'

acc.to question.

case (1)

(x-4)(y+2)=xy-10

xy+2x-4y-8+10=xy

2x-4y+2=0

2x-4y=-2

eq.multiplied by 2

4x-8y=-4(1)

case (2)

(x+3)(y+4)=xy+96

xy+4x+3y+12=xy+96

4x+3y=84 (2)

substract eqs.(2) by(1) ,we get

11y=88

y=8units

x=15units
