SOLUTION :

The area of the rectangle = 1560 cm sq.

The length of the rectangle = 60 cm

To be found :-

The breadth of the rectangle

We know that,

Area of the rectangle = lb unit sq.  [ ∴ In which l is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle ]

So,

Area of the rectangle = 1560

lb = 1560

⇒ 60 × b = 1560    [ ∴ as length is given = 60 cm ]

⇒ b = 1560 ÷ 60

⇒ b = 26

Hence,

The breadth of the rectangle is 26 cm

Here is your answer

Given:

Area of rectangle = 1560 Sq. cm
Length = 60cm

To find:

Breadth of the rectangle

Let breadth be x.

So,

As we know the formula,

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

1560 = 60 \times x \\  \\ x =  \frac{1560}{60}  \\  \\ x = 26cm

Therefore, Breadth of the rectangle is 26cm.
