Area = 162 and l:b = 2:1

Let x is the common factor

So, l = 2x and b = x

Area = l * b

=> 162 = 2x * x

=> 2x^2 = 162

x^2 = 162 / 2 = 81

x = (81)^1/2

x = 9

So, l = 2x = 2*9 = 18 cm

b = x = 9 cm

Perimeter = 2*(l+b)

P = 2 * (18 + 9)

P = 2 * 27

P = 54cm

... Ans: 54 cm ...
