Answer:

Area of rectangle = lenght × breadth

=> 24 m² = 8 × b

=> 24/8 = b

=> 3 m = breadth

Answer:

A= (l) (b)

A= 24sq.m , l = 8m so b= x

we have to find the x which is the breadth (or u can simply take b instead of x)

so,

24 = 8x

24/8 = x

3 = x

therefore breadth of the rectangle is 3m

cross check

8m*3m= 24m.sq

hope it is helpful
