area = 259

length = 18.5

and breadth= b {let}

area = l× b

259= 18.5×b

b= 259/18.5

further divided it and you will get your answer

~ Firstly let us find the breadth of rectangle by using the formula to find the area of rectangle as area is already provided to us. Let's do it!

:\implies \sf Area \: of \: rectangle \: = l \times b \\ \\ :\implies \sf 259 \: = 18.5 \times b \\ \\ :\implies \sf \dfrac{259}{18.5} \: = b \\ \\ :\implies \sf \dfrac{2590}{185} \: = b \\ \\ :\implies \sf \dfrac{518}{37} \: = b \\ \\ :\implies \sf 14 \: = b \\ \\ :\implies \sf b \: = 14 \: cm

Henceforth, breadth of the given rectangle we get is 14 centimetres.

~ Now as we are already provided with the length and we already get the breadth too. Now are we able to find the perimeter? Yes, we are! So let's find the perimeter of the rectangle by using suitable formula. Let's solve this!

:\implies \sf Perimeter \: of \: rectangle \: = 2(l+b) \\ \\ :\implies \sf Perimeter \: of \: rectangle \: = 2(18.5+14) \\ \\ :\implies \sf Perimeter \: of \: rectangle \: = 2(32.5) \\ \\ :\implies \sf Perimeter \: of \: rectangle \: = 65.0 \: cm

Henceforth, we get 65.0 centimetres as the perimeter of given rectangle.
