Given :-

  • Area of Rectangle = 288cm².
  • Length = 2 * Breadth .

To Find :-

  • Length & Breadth of Rectangle ?

Formula used :-

  • Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth .

Solution :-

Let us Assume That, Breadth of Rectangle is x cm.

So,

→ Breadth = x cm.

Than,

→ Length = 2 * Breadth = 2 * x = 2x cm.

Now,

Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth

Putting Values we get :-

→ 2x * x = 288

→ 2x² = 288

Dividing Both sides by 2,

→ x² = 144

→ x² = 12²

Square - Root Both sides ,

→ x = 12cm.

Hence,

Breadth = x cm = 12cm.

→ Length = 2x cm. = 2*12 = 24cm.

Therefore, Length & Breadth of Rectangle are 24cm & 12cm respectively.
