area of a rectangle=l×b
45cm^2=l×45
1=l
perimeter of the rectangle =2×(l+b)
=2×(1+45)
=2×46
=92
perimeter of square =4s
92=4s
92/4=s
23=s
area of square is equal to side square
area of square is equal to 23 square
area=529 cm^2

Given:-

Area of a rectangle is 45 cm square

Breadth = 45 cm

Let

length be ' L '

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

⇒ L × 45 = 45

⇒ L = 45/45

⇒ L = 1

Length = 1 cm

(according to the question)

The perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of a square

⇒ 2(Length + Breadth) = 4 × side

⇒ 2( 1 + 45) = 4 × side

⇒ 2 × 46 = 4 × side

⇒ 92 = 4 × side

⇒ 92/4 = side

⇒ 23 = side

side of the square = 23cm

\bf Area \: \: of \: \: square = {(side)}^{2} \\ \\ = {(23cm)}^{2} \\ \\ = 529 {cm}^{2}

Hence,

The area of the square = 529 cm sq.
