Solutions :-

Given :
Area of rectangle = 460 cm²

Let the breadth be x
Length = x + 15% of x

According to the question,

We know that,
Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. units
=> 460 = (x + 15% of x) × x
=> 460 = (x + 0.15x) × x
=> 460 = 1.15x²
=> 460/1.15 = x²
=> 400 = x²
=> √400 = x = 20

Therefore,
Length = x + 15% of x = 20 + 15% of 20 = 23 cm
Breadth = x = 20 cm

Given Ar= 460
let breadth =x
then length = x+15x/100
ar = l×b
460 =  x \times x + x15 \div 100
460 \times 100 \div 115 = x \times x
x^2=400
x=20

15% of it
= 15/100*20
=3
l = 23
b=20
