Let the breadth be x. So length would be x + 15x/100 = (100x + 15x)/100 = 115x/100 = 23x/20

Area = 460

x(23x/20) = 460

23x²/20 = 460

23x² = 460 × 20

x² = 9200/23 = 400

x = √400 = 20cm

23x/20 = 23(20)/20 = 23cm

Therefore, Length and breadth of the rectangle are 20cm and 23cm respectively.

Hope it helps!!! :)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given area Lxb=460, L=b+0.15b

(b+0.15b)xb=460

b(1+0.15)b=460

b²=460/1.15

   =400

b=20cm
