Question;-
The area of a rectangle is 460cm2 if the lenght is 15% more than the breadth what is the breadth of the rectangle??
Method of Solution;-
Let to be Breadth of rectangle = x
Given;-
Area of Rectangle = 460cm²
Length is 15% more than the breadth.
According to the Question!!
•°• Length will be = (100+15 )x/100
We know that;- Area of Rectangle = Length× Breadth
Now, Substitute the Given value in Equation!!
Area of Rectangle = Length× Breadth
460 = 115x/100 + x
•°• x² = 460 × 100/115
x² = 46000/115
x² = 400
•°• x =√400
•°• x = 20
Hence, Breadth will be = 20 Centimeters.

Here is your Solution
Given:-
Area of Rectangle = 460cm²
Let Breadth of rectangle to be x
Length is 15% more than the breadth.
A/q
Length = (100+15 )x/100
We know that
Area of Rectangle = Length× Breadth
Now,
putting the Given value of Length
Area of Rectangle = Length× Breadth
=>460 = 115x/100 × x
=>x² = 460 × 100/115
=>x² = 46000/115
=>x² = 400
=> x =√400
=> x = 20
Hence,
Breadth = x = 20cm
