Let the breadth of a rectangle= x
It’s length. =x+4
It’s area. x(x+4)

x^2+4x
But given area=480sqm

x^2+4x=480
x^2+4x-480=0
x^2+24x-20x-480=0
x(x+24)-20(x+24)=0
(x+24)(x-20)=0
x=20
So required breadth=24
Then length. = 20
Option (a) is the correct
