Let x = L

x(3x-5)=50

3x^2 - 5x - 50 = 0

Then factor.

(3x + 10)(x - 5) = 0

x = 5, x = -10/3

Now since distance cannot be negative, we must use 5.

L = 5

W = 3(5)-5 = 10
