Given:-

The area of a rectangle is 540 m² and its length is 36 cm. Find its width and perimeter.

Note:-

☆》Formula used 》Area of rectangle = length × width

》Formula used 》 Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + width )

Solution:-

♤ Here we need to convert the length into cm from m ( for calculations)~

We know that~

 1 cm = 1/100 m

 36 cm = 36/100 m

After doing calculations~

●length = 0.36 m

♤ Area of rectangle = 540 m², Length = 0.36 m, Width = ?

Let width = x

According to note first and third point ~

Area of rectangle = length × width

●540m² = 0.36 m × x

 540 m²/ 0.36 m = x

After doing calculations, we will get~

 1500 m = x

♤ So, width = 1500m

So, according to note second point~

●Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + width )

●Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( 0.36 m + 1500 m )

After doing calculations, we will get~

●Perimeter of rectangle = 2× 1500.36m

●Perimeter of rectangle = 3000.72m

Answer:-

Perimeter = 3000.72 m and width is 1500m
