) Length = 24.5 mBreadth = 18 m ∴ Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

) Length = 24.5 mBreadth = 18 m ∴ Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth = 24.5 m × 18 m

) Length = 24.5 mBreadth = 18 m ∴ Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth = 24.5 m × 18 m = 441 m2

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the dimensions of the rectangle.

As per question,

Area of rectangle =96\:m^2

Perimeter of rectangle = 39.2 cm

As we know that,

Area = lb\\Perimeter = 2(l+b)

So,

2(l+b) = 39.2\\=>l+b = \frac{39.2}{2} = 19.6\\=> l = 19.6 -b ------(1)

lb = 96\\=>(19.6 - b)\times b = 96\\=>19.6b -b^2=96\\=>b^2-19.6b+96=0\\=>b^2-10b-9.6b+96=0\\=>b(b-10)-9.6(b-10)=0\\=>(b-9.6)(b-10)=0\\=>b = 9.6, 10

Hence, dimension of rectangle will be 9.6 m and 10 m
