Answer:

area = 98 cm²

length = 56 mm = 5.6cm

area = length × breadth

98 = 5.6 × breadth

breadth = 17.5 cm

Explanation:

perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

= 2( 5.6 + 17.5 )

= 2 × 23.1

= 46.2 cm

\huge\bf{Answer :}

GIVEN :-

  • Area of the rectangle = 98 cm²
  • Length of the rectangle = 56 mm

TO FIND :-

  • Breadth of the rectangle.
  • Perimeter of the rectangle.

ANSWER :-

[ First of all we need to convert 56 mm into cm ]

Length of the rectangle ( in cm ) = 56 / 10

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ = 5.6 cm

Now , Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

Area of the rectangle = l × b

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 98= 5.6 × x

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ x = 98 / 5.6

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ x = 17.5 cm ✔️

Also , Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ = 2 ( 17.5 + 5.6 )

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ = 2 ( 23.1 )

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ = 46.1 cm ✔️

Hence , Perimeter of rectangle = 46.1 cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Breadth of rectangle = 17.5 cm
