Given,

          Length of rectangle = 32 m

          Side of square = 16 m

           ar (rectangle) = ar (square)

           l*b = s^2

            32*b = 16^2

            b = 16^2/32

             b = 8 m

∴ The perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)= 2(32+8) =2*40 = 80 m

\mathbb{ SOLUTION} :

Given :
Area of rectangle is equal to area of square
side of square is 16m
length of rectangle is 32m

We know that,
area of rectangle = length×breadth
and
area of square = (side)²

So,

=> length×breadth = (side)²

=> 32 × breadth = (16)²

=> 32 × breadth = 256

=> breadth = 256 ÷ 32

=> breadth = 8

\therefore breadth of the rectangle is 8m

Now,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

= 2(32 + 8)

= 2×40

= 80 m

Hence,
the perimeter of rectangle is 80m.
