Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 80cm × 20cm

= 1600

if the area of rectangle is 1600 , so the area of square will be 1600

To , find the side of square ,

Area of square = side × side

1600 = 2side

1600/2 = side

800 = side

{\bigstar}GIVEN{\bigstar}

RECTANGLE:

  • Length = 80cm
  • breadth = 20cm

{\bigstar}TO FIND{\bigstar}

  • side of a square

{\bigstar}SOLUTION{\bigstar}

Given that

Area of the rectangle = Area of a square

Length × breadth = side × side

80 × 20 = side²

1600 = side²

side =  \sqrt{1600}

side =  \sqrt{40 \times 40}

\boxed{\sf{  side = 40cm }}

hence ,

the side of the square = 40cm
