Answer:

64 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

Length= 20 m

Area = 240 Sq. m.

Breadth = (240/20)m

= 12 m

So,

L = 20m

B = 12m

Perimeter = 2(L+B) unit

= 2(20+12)m

= 2(32) m

=64 m

Given :-

Area of the rectangle :- 240 cm²

Length of the rectangle :- 20 metres

To Find :-

Perimeter of the rectangle.....

Solution :-

Breadth :-

 \longrightarrow \sf \: \frac{area \: of \: rectangle}{length \: of \: the \: rectangle}  \\

 \longrightarrow \sf \:breadth =  \frac{240}{20}  = 12 \: m \\

Now,

 \longrightarrow \sf \:Perimeter = 2 \times (l + b)

 \longrightarrow \sf \:2 \times (20 + 12)

 \longrightarrow \sf \:2 \times 32

 \longrightarrow \sf \:Perimetre = 64 \: m

\Huge\therefore Perimeter of the rectangle is 64 m.
