The area of a rectangle reduces by 20 m^2, if its length is increased by 1 m and the
breadth is reduced by 2 m. The area increases by 12 m^2, if the length is reduced
by 3 m and the breadth is increased by 4 m. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.​

Answer: your required answer :-

LENGTH = 15 m

BREADTH = 12 m

now ,

let length = x

and breadth = y

( x + 1 ) ( y - 2 )  = x y + 12

y  - 2 x =  - 18 _________ ( i ) equation

( x - 3 ) ( y + 4 ) =  x y + 12

4x - 3y = 24

on solving , we get

length = 15m

breadth = 12 m
