Area of Rectangle= l×b
length= 25cm
area=500 cm^2

500=25×b
500/25=b
b=20 cm

Perimeter of Rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(25+20)
2×45= 90 cm.

May it help...

Width = 20cm

Perimeter of the rectangular sheet = 90cm

The whole distance covered by a rectangle's edges or sides is known as its perimeter. Because a rectangle has four sides, the perimeter of the rectangle is equal to the sum of the four sides. It is a linear measure.

Given:

Area of a rectangle sheet = 500cm^{2}

Length of the sheet = 25cm

To find:

Width, perimeter

Area of a rectangle  = length*breadth

                         500 = 25*b

                              b = \frac{500}{25}

                              b = 20cm

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

                                            = 2(25+20)

                                            = 2(45)

                                            = 90cm
