area of a rectangle = 240m²

length = 12m

area = length × breadth

240 = 12 × breadth

breadth = 240/12

= 20m

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

= 2(12 + 20)

= 2 ×32

= 64m

Answer:

64 will be the perimeter

Step-by-step explanation:

first we have to find the breadth

to find the breadth we have to divide the area to length i.e 240÷12=20

so now we got the breadth now we can find the perimeter easily

perimeter of rectangle=2×(length+breadth)

= 2×(12+20)

=2×32

=64
