the area of a rectangular carpet is 63m². its breadth is 9m.
a)Find the length
b)find the perimeter of the carpet

ritik0994: since the breath of rectangular carpet is - 9m and area is - 63m² .... So area of rectangular carpet = L×B = 63 ... L × 9 = 63 ... L = 64/9 .... so length is 7m.... thus, perimeter is 2(l+b) .. 2(7+9) ... = 32m
ritik0994: 63***
nirbhaypaldlw: length of carpet is 7cm and perimeter is 32cm

Answer:

a)7m

b)32m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area=63 m2

Breadth=9m

a) Area= Length×Breadth

63=Length×9

63/9= Length

7= Length

Therefore length is 7m.

b) Perimeter=2 (length+breadth)

=2 (7+9)

=2×16

=32m

a)SOLUTION

area = \: 63 {m}^{2}

breadth = 9m

length \:  =  |?|

l = (a \div b)

63 \div 9 =  7

so length =7

b)SOLUTION

Perimeter = 2×(l+b)

 = 2 \times (7  + 9)

 = 32

So perimeter of rectangle = 32m

hope it helps :)
