The area of a rectangular field is 0.5 ha. If one side is 12.5 m, find the other side in metres.

Area of rectangular field =0. 5 ha
(1 hectare =10000m²)

Area become =. 5x10000=5000m²

Area =lxb

Lx12. 5=5000

L=5000/12.5=400m

So other side is 400m
