Answer:

X=40, 50

Y=50, 40

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Area of Field: 2000m²

Perimeter: 180m

Let X be it's Lenght and Breath be Y.

Then,

=> X.Y = 2000.........(1)

=> 2(X + Y) = 180

=> X + Y = 90

=> X = 90 - Y............(2)

Putting (2) in (1)

=> Y(90 - Y) = 2000

=> 90Y - = 2000

=> - 90Y + 2000 = 0

=> (Y - 40) (Y - 50) = 0

=> Y = 50 or 40

Then X = 40 or 50
