Area of a rectangular field = 4000 m sq

Length ---------------------------- = 80 m

Breadth -------------------------- = ?

Area of a rectangular field = Length × Breadth

4000. = 80 × Breadth

4000 ÷ 80. = Breadth

50 m. = Breadth

Breadth = 50 m

Perimeter of a rectangular field = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

= 2 × (80 + 50)

= 2 × 130

= 260 m

Perimeter of a rectangular field = 260 m

ANSWER :-

Perimeter = 260 metre

Breadth = 50 metre
