breath of rectangle is 6m
area is 48m^2
length=48/6=8
diagonally forms a right angles triangle
hypotenuse =10m
speed of lady is 20m/min
20/60=1/3
v=d/t
t=d/v
=10/1/3
=30/1
=30

6

 \frac{1}{2} seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle=

l \times b

breadth= 8cm

In triangle ACD, ∆D= 90 DEGREE

USE PYTHAGOREAN THEORUM:

= (AD) ² = (AD) ² + ( DC) ²

= (AC) ² = (6)² + (8)²

= (AC) ² = 36 + 64

= AC = 100 = 10 cm

time taken = distance / speed

= 10/20 = 1/2
