Answer:

Given : Rectangle length =(5p−6) m, width =(p+4) m and perimeter is 20 m.

We know that, perimeter of rectangle =2(length×breadth)

Then perimeter of rectangle =2[(5p−6)+(p+4)]=2(5p−6+p+4)=2(6p−2)

But given perimeter is 20 cm

∴2(6p−2)=20

⇒6p−2=10

⇒6p=10+2=12

⇒p=2

So width =(p+4)=2+4=6 m

Answer:

(p-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle=p²-5p+4

Length of rectangle=p-4

Breath of rectangle=?(x)

Area of rectangle=length×breath

p²-5p+4=(p-4)×x

p²-4p-p+4=p-4×x

p(p-4)-1(p-4)=p-4×x

(p-4)(p-1)=p-4×x

x=p-1
