Given:-

Length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth.

And,area of the field is = 684.5m²

To find:-

Perimeter of the rectangular field.

Solution:-

Let the breadth of the field be x

Thus,length of the field=2x

Area of a rectangle=length×breadth

=>2x×x=684.5

=>2x²=684.5

=>x²=684.5/2

=>x²=342.25

=>x=18.5

Hence,breadth of the field is 18.5m

And,length=2(18.5)=37m

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

=>2(37+18.5)

=>2×55.5

=>111m

Thus,perimeter of the field is 111m.
