Answer:

The area of a rectangular field whose length is twice its breadth is 2450 sq.m. Find the perimeter of the field

Let say Breadth = B m

then Length = 2B m

Area =Length * Breadth

2B * B

\begin{gathered}2{b}^{2} = 2450 \\ {b}^{2} = 1225 \\ {b}^{2} = {35}^{2} \\ b = 35\end{gathered}

2b

2

=2450

b

2

=1225

b

2

=35

2

b=35

Breadth = 35 m

Length = 2 × 35 = 70 m

Perimeter = 2 × (Breadth + Length)

= 2 × (35 + 70)

= 2 × 105

= 210 m
