l=2b
l=x
b=2x
according to the que
l×b=area
x ×2x=2450m^2
2x^2=2450
x^2=1225
x=35m
l=35m
b=70m

2(l+b)=perimeter
2(35+70)
2(105)
p=210m

Question:-

The area of a rectangular field whose length is twice its breadth is 2,450 metre square.Find the perimeter of the field.

Solution:-

Let, L be the length of rectangle and B be

the breadth rectangle.

By Question:-

L = 2B ....... ( 2 )

we know formula

=> Area of rectangle = L × B

From ( 1 )

=> Area of rectangle = 2B × B

=> 2450 = 2B²

i.e.

=> 2B² = 2450

=> B² =2450/2

=> B² = 1225

=> B = √1225

=> B = 35 cm

Put value of B in equation ( 1 )

=> L = 2B = 2 × 35 = 70 cm

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2(70+35)

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 2(105)

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 210 m

Hence perimeter of rectangle

is 210 m.

i hope it helps you.
