The length of the rectangle according to the question is 50m

Let the width =
X

So, from the formula of rectangle area we get,

X*50=300 m^2
x=300/50=6m

so the width of the rectangle is
6m

Area = Length * Width
300  =  50 * Width
300/50  = Width
Width  = 300/50
Width  =  6m
Width of the rectangle = 6m
