Answer:

Length of rectangle = 50 m and Area of rectangle = 300 m.sq

Since, Area of rectangle = length x breadth

Therefore, Breadth = \frac{Area\ of\ rec\tan gle}{Length} = 6m

Thus, the breadth of the garden is 6 m.

To find : width of rectangular garden

Given : length = 50 \ m and area = 300\ m^{2}

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that length and area of rectangular garden50 \ m and 300\ m^{2} respectively. We have to find width of garden.
  • To find area we use following formula -

      Area of rectangular garden $=l \times b$

  • Substituting the values we get,

          300 = 50 \times width \\

       width = \frac{300}{50} \\width = 6\ m

Hence, width of rectangular garden is 6\ m.
