ANSWER : ₹1500

Area of Rectangular Garden = 4800 m^2

We, know that Breadth = 48 m

So, we can find length by -

l \times b \\  48m \times l = 4800 {m}^{2}  \\ l =  \frac{4800 {m}^{2} }{48m}  \\ l = 100m

We know that there is a road 1m wide around ( outside ) the garden.

So, Length of Garden with Road= 100 + 1 + 1= 102m

Breadth of Garden with Road= 48 + 1 + 1= 50m

area = l \times b \\  = 102m \times 50m \\  = 5100 {m}^{2}

So, we need to cover this road by bricks. Hence, we need to find the area of road which is

Area of Garden with Road - Area of Garden

5100 {m}^{2}  - 4800 {m}^{2}  \\  = 300 {m}^{2}

We know the cost of covering bricks per m^2 = ₹5

So, Cost of Covering 300 m^2 ( Area of Road )

300 \times 5 \\  = Rs \: 1500
