Answer:

length of rectangular garden = 40 cm

area of rectangular garden = 1000 sq cm

40 × l = 1000

l = 25 cm

perimeter of rectangular garden = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 25 + 40 )

= 130 cm

Given :

  • Area of garden = 1000m²

  • Length of garden = 40cm

To Find :

  • Breadth and perimeter

Solution :

Here in the Question We are given Length and Area of the Rectangular Garden. So,Firstly by using the formula of Area of rectangle i.e Length × Breadth, we will find the Breadth. After Finding the breath We can easily find the Perimeter of Rectangular garden that is 2 (Length + Breadth).

  • Area of Rectangle = 1000m²
  • Length of Rectangle = 40m
  • Breadth of Rectangle = ?

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

⟹ 1000 = 40 × Breadth

⟹ 1000/40 = Breadth

⟹ Breadth = 25 cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (L + B)

⟹ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (40 + 25)

⟹ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 65

⟹ Perimeter of Rectangle = 130 cm

Therefore,

  • Breadth of Rectangle is 25cm

  • Perimeter of Rectangle is 130cm
