area of rectangle=l*b
120=12*x
x=10cm
perimeter=2(l+b)
perimeter=2(22)
perimeter=44
cost of fencing=perimeter*rate of fencing
cost of fencing=44*125
cost of fencing=5500 rupees
hope this helps you

Hi ,

Let l , b are length and breadth of

Rectangular ground,

l = 12 m

b = ?

Area ( A ) = 120 m²

lb = 120 m²

12b = 120m²

b = 120/12

b = 10 m

Required wire to fencing the

ground = perimeter of the ground

P = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 12 + 10 )

= 2 × 22

= 44 m

Cost of the wire per metre = Rs 125

Cost of the

required wire = Rs 125 × 44

= Rs 5500

I hope this helps you.
