Let the breadth be x m.Then length =4x,Now area of rectangular hall=l×b=4x×x4x2,144=4x2=x2=144/4=36,hence ,x,=6Then,Length=24m and breadth =6m

Answer:

Breadth=x

Length=4x

Area = L*B, so 4x*x =144

4xsquare equals to 144

so 4x = 144

x=12/4=3

So breadth equals to 3 and length equals to 14
