The area of a rectangular mirror is 11 11/16 square feet. The width of the mirror is 2 3/4 feet. If there is a 5 foot tall space on the wall to hang the mirror, will it fit? EXPLAIN..

area = 11 \frac{11}{16} sq \: feet \\ width = 2 \frac{3}{4}  =  \frac{11}{4}  feet\\ length =  \frac{area}{width}  =  \frac{ \frac{187}{16} }{ \frac{11}{4} } \\ length =  \frac{187}{16}   \times  \frac{4}{11}  =  \frac{17}{4}   \\ length= 4 \frac{1}{4}  feet\\ now  \: the \: space \: onwall \: is \: 5 \: feet \: and \\ \: 5 > 4 \frac{1}{4}  \\ so \: the\: mirror \: can\: be \: hanged
