\Huge{\red{\underline{\textsf{Answer}}}}

Let the length and the Breadth of the rectangular garden be x and y meter respectively.

\large{\red{\underline{\tt{Given}}}}

\mapstoxy = 180 sq m ......(1)

\mapsto2y + x = 39

\mapstox = 39 - 2y

Putting the value of x in (1) we get

\mapsto( 39 - 2y )y = 180

\mapsto39 - 2y² = 180

\mapsto39y - 2y² - 180 = 0

\mapsto2y² - 39y + 180 = 0

\mapsto2y² - (24 + 15)y + 180 = 0

\mapsto2y² - 24y - 15y + 180 = 0

\mapsto2y(y - 12) - 15(y - 12) = 0

\Longrightarrowy = 12 or

\Longrightarrowy = 15/2 = 7.5

If y = 12, x = 39 - 24

\leadsto x = 15

If y = 7.5, x = 39 - 15

\leadsto x = 24
