Area = 240 m²

Breadth = 15 m

Length × Breadth = Area of rectangle

or, Length = Area / Breadth

or, Length = 240 / 15

or, Length = 16 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length+Breadth)

Perimeter = 2(16 + 15) m

= 2(31) m

= 62 m

The perimeter of the rectangular park is 62 m.

Answer:

62m

Step-by-step explanation:

\large\underline{\sf{Solution}}

\large\underline{\sf{area \: of \: rectangle = l \times b}}

\large\underline{\sf{ {240m}^{2}  = l \times 15m}}

\large\underline{\sf{240 {m}^{2} \div 15m = l }}

\large\underline{\sf{16m}}

Now we have found the length of the rectangle.

Now we will use the formula for perimeter of rectangle.

\large\underline{\sf{perimeter _{rectangle}  = 2(l + b)}}

\large\underline{\sf{ \implies2(16m + 15m)}}

\large\underline{\sf{ \implies 2 \times 31m}}

\large\underline{\sf{ \implies62m}}
