Answer:

Area of rectangle = 456m²

Length of the rectangle = 24m

Breadth of the rectangle = ?

Now let's find the equation

Area of rectangle = 456m²

( L×B ) = 456m²

( 24×B ) = 456m²

B = 456 ÷ 24

B = 19m

Now we have to find the total amount .

Amount of fencing it per meter = Rs. 8.50

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( L+B )

= 2 ( 24+19 )

2×43

Perimeter of rectangle = 86m

Cost of fencing it × Perimeter of rectangle

8.50×43

= Rs.365.5

So your answer is Rs.365.5 per meter.
