as we know that

area of rectangular plot = length × breadth

144 = 16 × x

x = 144 / 16

x = 9m

so breadth of rectangular plot is 9 m

perimeter of rectangular plot = 2 (length + breadth )

= 2 ( 16 + 9 )

= 2 × 25

= 50 m

so cost of fencing = rate × perimeter

= 6 × 50

= Rs 300

so cost of fencing is Rs 300
