 The area of a rectangular plot is 150 sq.m. Its length is 15 m. (a) Find its breadth. (b) Find the cost of levelling the floor at the rate of Rs. 12 per sq.m​

Substituting the values

15m  \times \: breadth = 150 {m}^{2}

 \implies \: breadth =  \dfrac{150}{15}  = 10m

Coast of leveling

1 {m}^{2}  = 12 \: rupees \\ then \\

Coast of leveling

150  {m}^{2}  = 150 \times 12 = 180rupees
