The area of a rectangular plot is 460 m2. If the length is 15% more than its breadth,
find the perimeter of the plot.​

Let x be its breadth, y be its height.

ATQ, xy = 460 m² —— (1)

Also, y = 15x/100 + x —— (2)

Putting value of (2) in (1).

x(15x+100x)/100 = 460

115x²=46000

x² = 46000/115

x² = 400

x = ± 20 m

As perimeter of a figure can't be negative,

x = 20m.
